EcoGreen Movers was engaged by C&R Global Logistics to relocate a substantial office inventory from an eighth-floor workplace in Stockport to third-floor premises in Trafford Park. The 24.4 m³ scope included sixteen desks, conference furniture, eighteen office chairs, storage units, a printer, a fridge-freezer, a mini-bar fridge, a sofa and kitchen furniture.

The Complexities: Operational Risks
Three risk areas shaped the programme.
- High-rise building interfaces: the move depended on disciplined lift use, protection of shared areas and coordination with building access arrangements at both sites.
- Mixed asset profile: furniture, appliances, office equipment and a specialist leisure asset each required different handling and loading methods.
- Complex reinstatement: pool-table components and office assets had to arrive in an order that supported accurate reassembly and efficient workplace setup.

- Desks, chairs and storage were loaded in a sequence aligned to the receiving floor plan, with a planned 30 to 40 minute transfer separating the controlled loading and unloading phases.
The Outcome
The relocation consolidated a diverse 24.4 m³ office into one coordinated programme, limiting disruption to both buildings and reducing the risk of missing parts or incorrect placement. Specialist dismantling capability removed the need for the client to appoint a separate pool-table contractor.
